Just like this deer, caught in our outside camera, our hormones which control our emotions become more acute when startled like this, permitting greater awareness of our surroundings. In fact, as you will read in the following, our accuracy, judgment, and brain acuity sharpen up when we are ‘caught’ like this deer. But this may also cause an overload of hormones in one’s system. Creativity is the natural solution to an over-torqued system which works internally and externally to the benefit of all those concerned.
Art, music, dance, or even scientific experimentation are known to divert despondent moods. They may also release hormones and chemicals within the body which uncap creativity, tension and even genius. Creativity can be a byproduct response to stress triggered hormones. It may also release stress in the process of tapping into creativity by discharging the chemicals locked in via a ‘fight or flight’ reaction.

One researcher writes: “Reinvention of self or otherwise, will boost every healthy chemical in your body: serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, and more. So, keep moving forward and you might not get healthy but you will get healthier. Don’t use health as an excuse. Finally, reinvent your health first. Sleep more hours. Eat better. Exercise. These are key steps to reinvention.”

Demystifying Creativity
What is creativity? That which is both novel and useful. (Haier & Jung, 2008) Amabile (1989) described creativity in children as behavior that is novel and appropriate. Cameron (1992) believes that creativity is a spiritual process and is our true nature, our life energy. The Mirriam-Webster Online Dictionary (2009) defines creativity as the ability to create or the quality of being creative. Gale (1998) describes it as the ability to innovate, make art or problem-solve using a novel, unconventional or original approach.

Fleeting feelings can change the way we think. While sadness makes us more focused and diligent — the spotlight of attention is sharpened — happiness seems to have the opposite effect, so that good moods make us 20 percent more likely to have a moment of insight. The second takeaway is that many of our creative challenges involve tasks that require diligence, persistence and focus.
It is widely believed that certain notable brain chemicals are essential in order to stimulate creativity. Therefore the key to feeling inspired is partly down to obtaining the right balance of these chemicals…
It’s okay to get disillusioned. That’s what failure is about. Success is better than failure but the biggest lessons are found in failure.
Very important: There’s no rush. You will reinvent yourself many times in an interesting life. You will fail to reinvent many times. That’s fun also. Many reinventions make your life a book of stories instead of a textbook. Some people want the story of their life to be a textbook. For better or worse, mine is a book of stories.
Reinvention will boost every healthy chemical in your body: serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin. Keep moving forward and you might not get healthy but you will get healthier. Don’t use health as an excuse.
Finally, reinvent your health first. Sleep more hours. Eat better. Exercise. These are key steps to reinvention.

Do you want time to do this? I decided to sell ‘stuff’ on Ebay in order to have enough in Pay Pal to pay for this wonderful product. I bought into it, and I am glad I did. Now I am selling a top-notch nutritional product which has enabled me to stop taking my blood-pressure meds because my physician thought it wise since the wellness drink by itself was controlling my blood pressure.

There is also a nutritional shake which enables one to eliminate at least one meal or snack a day in favor of better nutrition and less calories. Check out:  or

Sitting is the New Smoking…

Like it was said 2000 years ago, “pick up your bed and walk,” it is again being said, but by hundreds of medical professionals; “get off your seat and walk.” Apparently, today’s jobs are creating a condition of non-stop back pain and inflammation, due to lack of mobility. Below is just one site’s statistic:

Alpa Patel (PhD), an epidemiologist at the American Cancer Society, showed men who spent six hours or more per day of their leisure time sitting had an overall death rate that was about 20 percent higher than the men who sat for three hours or less. The death rate for women who sat for more than six hours a day was about 40 percent higher.
